FLOWERING PLAYGROUND

The Meadow park is first and foremost meant for people living in the surrounding areas to enjoy wilderness in the city, move around, meet each other or keep distance. The park is located in Annelinn neighbourhood in Tartu. Towards North from it, there are many apartment buildings, shops and private houses. However, towards South from the park are many natural and wild areas, one of them being a Unesco protected wetland, home for many species of birds every spring.
On the West side of the Meadow park flows Tartus famous Emajõgi river and a Anne canal. The ladder was built to improve watersports, such as canoeing. There is a potential for the Meadow park to be a harbour for watercrafts in the future.
